DIY - Birthday Card

Today is my grandmother's 84th birthday! Whenever I ask her what she'd like for her birthday, I get the same response - hugs and kisses. I decided to put all my love into this beautiful card. I am OBSESSED with bunting and love how simple the card is.

{what you'll need}

The plain brown card stock I got from Dollarama. I took a pad of scrapbooking paper, chose my favourite sheets, and cut them into little triangles (1.5cm tall). The thread is white but you can use any colour. You'll also need a glue gun, scissors, and a black pen.

{make the bunting}

After you choose which triangles to use, write your message on them with a nice black pen. Cut 2 pieces of thread to 30 cm. I attached the triangles by placing a thin line of hot glue to the top and placing them on the thread.

{attach to the card}

I laid out the happy birthday message on the front of the card until it was positioned correctly. I then flipped the card over and attached the thread using hot glue.

{add a little love}

Take a piece of scrapbooking paper and write a cute message on it. Attach it to the back of the card using the hot glue gun.
